The total landmass, consisting of 111,369 square kilometers; is roughly the size of the state of Virginia. In addition to having a long stretch of coastline along the North Atlantic Ocean, about 13% of the landmass is aquatic. The EPA’s mission statement is as follows: The Environmental Protection Agency of the Republic of Liberia is the principle authority for implementing the national environmental policy and sustainable management law for the protection of natural resources in Liberia. As a commitment to the environment, the Government of Liberia established the EPA in 2003 under the EPA Act.The Agency became a fully functioning entity in 2006 with a board of directors and Policy Council. As the lead government environment protection Agency, the EPA has been charged with the executive authority over all environmental activities and programmes relating to environmental management in Liberia (The National Environmental 2003). The agency is empowered with a list of 25 functions; none of which seem to be implemented. Furthermore; it would seem that the agency is currently of little to no use for reasons that will be addressed later. What Is Bee Propolis

Honey bees are best known for making honey, and to a lesser degree, for making beeswax. But honey bees also make another product—bee propolis. Bee Glue Bee propolis is a sticky, brown substance sometimes known as bee glue. The honey bees gather tree resin, the main ingredient in propolis, from buds and cracks in the bark. The bees add salivary secretions to the resin by chewing on it and add beeswax to the mix. Propolis has a little pollen in it, too. When analyzed, propolis contains about 50% resin, 30% wax and oils, 10% salivary secretions, 5% pollen, and 5% amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. The honey bee workers use propolis as a construction material, similar to plaster or caulk. They cover the interior surfaces of the hive with it and fill any gaps and cracks. Bees also use it to strengthen their honeycomb. In a man-made hive box, the bees will use propolis to seal the lid and hive boxes together. The beekeeper uses a special hive tool to break the propolis seal and remove the lid. Propolis May Have Therapeutic Qualities Propolis is known to have antimicrobial properties, and many scientists are studying the potential uses of propolis as a therapy for certain diseases. Propolis is particularly effective at killing the microorganisms that cause gum disease. It has also been shown to be effective at inhibiting the growth of certain cancers. This organization is also a refuge of Bible study and prayer to escape the hazards of life on the street.The â€Å"YMCA† started as a sanctuary for young men,but they serve the entire family,singles,everybody. Some YMCA organizations are also known as â€Å"family centers† The â€Å"YMCA† serves for all ages,religion,race,and background. George Williams,born in Somerset,England,on October 11,1821. He later moved to London and worked as an apprentice to a Draper in 1836. In 1841, Williams was working as a Draper. He stayed in the accommodations provided,and thus becoming one of the 150,000 young men the crowded the city of London. Thus, founding the â€Å"YMCA† on June 6,1844,with the help of ten Christian young men. The objective was to improve spiritual conditions of young men in houses of business. By the â€Å"formations of Bible classes,family and social prayer meetings,mut ual improvement of societies,or any other spiritual agency.† In 1851, 24 YMCA locations existed in England,boasting 2700 members. Product differentiation is the practice distinguishing a service or commodity from others through the incorporation of various attributes such as price, benefits, styling, quality, service among others. (Besanko, Braeutigam, Gibbs, 2011). Setting a particular price which is lower compared to that of other competitors is among the components of product differentiation which is meant to maintain and increase the level of demand. Product differentiation can take various forms for example physical commodity differentiation. This is where businesses use design, shape, size, performance, and form to create uniqueness in their products. Firms can also differentiate their goods and services using various types of shopping such as through the internet. Through internet shopping, for example, a company will be able to capture large clientele compare d to other sellers who don't use the internet. Make a case for why monopolistically competitive industries never reach long-run equilibrium. Earning of supernormal profits in the short-run attracts new firms in the long-run which in the process will reduce the economic profits made before to zero level. At this level, companies in the industry will earn normal profits. At this stage there will be no product differentiation and no firm will get excess returns because, all businesses have similar products concerning price, quality, and design. In reality, this stage is unattainable since, in the long run; new firms enter with new products which imply a start in the product life cycle.
